आप सभी का स्वागत है मेरे इस blog में, दोस्तों आपको यहाँ रोचक कहानियाँ आपके kids के लिए दी गयी है। इन छोटी कहानियो के साथ सीख़ भी दी गई है। यह कहानी आपको हिंदी और इंग्लिश दोनों में दी गई है।

Short Moral Story1:- “Reckless” in English

Once, some people were sitting together in a train compartment. Among them were two friends and, a father and his son. As the train started to move, the excited son said, “Look, the train is moving and things are moving backward.” His father gave a smile.

As the train moved faster, the son screamed, “The trees are green and run backward!” His father nodded his head in agreement. Now, the group of friends found all this very strange. One of them made fun of the son and shouted, “I think he is mad!”

The father, on hearing this, remained calm. Then he explained to the boys, “My son was born blind. He was operated upon and got his vision. He is seeing things for the first time in his life.” The boys were taken aback. Both of them were ashamed and apologized to the father and the son.

Moral:- Do not judge in haste.

Short Moral Story1:- “Reckless” in Hindi

एक बार ट्रेन के डिब्बे में कुछ लोग एक साथ बैठे थे। इनमें दो दोस्त और एक पिता और उसका बेटा शामिल थे। जैसे ही ट्रेन चलने लगी, उत्साहित बेटे ने कहा, “देखो, ट्रेन आगे बढ़ रही है और चीजें पीछे की ओर जा रही हैं।” उसके पिता ने एक मुस्कान दी।

जैसे ही ट्रेन तेजी से आगे बढ़ी, बेटा चिल्लाया, “पेड़ हरे हैं और पीछे की ओर दौड़ रहे हैं!” उसके पिता ने सहमति में सिर हिलाया। अब, दोस्तों के समूह को यह सब बहुत अजीब लगा। उनमें से एक ने बेटे का मजाक उड़ाया और चिल्लाया, “मुझे लगता है कि वह पागल है!”

यह सुनकर पिता शांत हो गए। फिर उसने लड़कों को समझाया, “मेरा बेटा अंधा पैदा हुआ था। उसका ऑपरेशन किया गया और फ़िर उसे दृष्टि मिली। वह अपने जीवन में पहली बार चीजों को देख रहा है।” लड़के अवाक रह गए। दोनों लज्जित हुए और पिता-पुत्र से माफी मांगी।

नैतिक:- जल्दबाजी में निर्णय न लें।

Short Moral Story2:- “The Carpenter” in English

Once, two brothers lived on adjoining farms. One day, they had a quarrel and stopped speaking. Days later, a carpenter said to the elder brother, “I am looking for some work.

” The elder brother said, “Look across the creek at that farm. That is my younger brother’s. I want you to build me a fence, so I won’t need to see his farm.”

The carpenter nodded his head. He worked hard all day. When the elder brother came out, he was shocked. Instead of the fence, the carpenter had made a bridge connecting both the farms.

At that moment, the younger brother came there and hugged the brother. He said, “Brother, I admire you for building this bridge after all that was said and done.” Both were very happy.

When the elder brother looked around to than the carpenter, he had disappeared, for he had other bridges to build.

Moral:- Good people always love to help.

एक बार दो भाई पास के खेतों में रहते थे। एक दिन उनका झगड़ा हो गया और उन्होंने बोलना बंद कर दिया। कुछ दिनों बाद एक बढ़ई ने बड़े भाई से कहा, “मैं कोई काम ढूंढ रहा हूं।

” बड़े भाई ने कहा, “उस खेत में नाले को देखो। वही मेरे छोटे भाई का है। मैं चाहता हूं कि तुम मेरे लिए एक बाड़ बनाओ, इसलिए मुझे उसके खेत को देखने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी।”

बढ़ई ने सिर हिलाया। उन्होंने पूरे दिन कड़ी मेहनत की। बड़ा भाई बाहर आया तो हैरान रह गया। बढ़ई ने बाड़ की जगह दोनों खेतों को जोड़ने वाला पुल बनाया था।

उसी समय छोटा भाई वहां आया और भाई को गले से लगा लिया। उन्होंने कहा, “भाई, जो कुछ कहा और किया गया था, उसके लिए मैं इस पुल के निर्माण के लिए आपकी प्रशंसा करता हूं।” दोनों बहुत खुश थे।

जब बड़े भाई ने बढ़ई की ओर देखा, तो वह गायब हो गया था, क्योंकि उसके पास बनाने के लिए अन्य पुल थे।

नैतिक:- अच्छे लोग हमेशा मदद करना पसंद करते हैं।

Short Moral Story3:- “The Creaking Wheels” in English

Once, there was a pair of oxen who toiled day and night. They were tied to a wagon that they had to pull. One day, the oxen were pulling the wagon along a bumpy road. They had to use all their strength to pull the wagon, but they did not complain. The wheels of the wagon were of a different sort.

Though the task they had to do was very light compared with that of the oxen, they creaked and groaned at every turn. The driver of the wagon became furious.

He said to the wagon, “Why do you make so much noise? Can’t you see the oxen are quietly doing their job?”

Those who cry the loudest may not be the ones who are hurt by the host.

Moral:- Sometimes those who suffer the most, Complain the least.

एक बार एक बैलों का जोड़ा रहता था जो दिन-रात मेहनत करते थे। वे एक वैगन से बंधे थे जिसे उन्हें खींचना था। एक दिन, बैल ऊबड़-खाबड़ रास्ते से गाड़ी खींच रहे थे। वैगन को खींचने के लिए उन्हें अपनी पूरी ताकत लगानी पड़ी, लेकिन उन्होंने शिकायत नहीं की। वैगन के पहिए अलग तरह के थे।

हालाँकि उन्हें जो काम करना था, वह बैलों की तुलना में बहुत हल्का था, फिर भी वे हर मोड़ पर कराहते थे। वैगन का चालक उग्र हो गया।

उसने गाड़ी से कहा, “तुम इतना शोर क्यों करते हो? क्या तुम नहीं देख सकते कि बैल चुपचाप अपना काम कर रहे हैं?”

जो लोग सबसे ज्यादा रोते हैं वे मेजबान द्वारा आहत होने वाले नहीं हो सकते हैं।

Moral:- कभी-कभी जो सबसे ज्यादा पीड़ित होते हैं, वे सबसे कम शिकायत करते हैं।

Brains and Brawn Story in English

Once upon a time, There were two brothers, The elder brother was Vidyachatur and the younger one was Virchand. They possessed qualities exactly according to their names. Vidyachatur was intelligent and clever in his studies. Virchand was more interested in sports.

Vidyachatur was appointed the Chief Minister in the court of the king of Wankaner. Virchand joined the army of the king of Morbi. Both the brothers were hardworking. Loyal and sincere in their respective fields. They earned a good name for themselves. However, Vidaychatur’s fame and glory had spread far and wide.

One day, both the brothers came to their hometown to see their parents. Everybody in the village came to meet the brothers. But all of them praised Vidyachatur only. Even their father praised only his elder son and said that he was very proud of him.

Therefore, Virchand was annoyed. The father realized this and thought of a plan to convince Virchand of Vidyachatur’s superiority.

Now, it so happened that on a small hillock near their house, a bitch had given birth to four puppies. The father asked Virchand to go and find out what there was at the top of the hillock. Virchand quickly climbed up the hillock and returned immediately.

The father asked him, “Son, what did you see there on the hillock?”

Virchand replied, “Father, a bitch has given birth to puppies on that hillock.”

The father further said, “How many puppies are there?”

Virchand did not know the answer! So, he again runs up the hillock and returned immediately. He said, “Father, there are four puppies.”

The father said, “What color are the puppies?”

Again, Virchand did not know the answer! So, he ran up the hillock and returned soon. He said, “Father, one of the puppies is black and the other three are brown in color.”

After some time, the father called Vidyachatur and asked him to go and find out what there was at the top of the hillock.

Vidyachatur climbed up the hillock and came back after some time.

The father asked him, “Son, what did you see on the hillock?”

Vidyachatur replied, “Father, a bitch has given birth to puppies on that hillock.”

The father further asked him, “How many puppies are there?”

Vidyachatur replied at once, “Father, there are four puppies.”

The father then asked, “What color are the puppies?

“Father, one of the puppies is black and the other three are brown,” replied Vidyachatur promptly.

When the father was asking Vidyachatur these questions, Virchand was also present there. He realized that his elder brother had gone only once on the hillock and had brought all the information about the bitch and her puppies. But he had to go there thrice to get the same information.

Now Virchand also began to admire his brother’s intelligence. He realized that his brother was, indeed, superior to him.

एक बार की बात है, दो भाई थे, बड़ा भाई विद्याचतुर और छोटा वीरचंद था। उनमें अपने नाम के अनुरूप ही गुण थे। विद्याचतुर अपनी पढ़ाई में होशियार और चालाक थे। वीरचंद को खेलों में अधिक रुचि थी।

विद्याचतुर को वांकानेर के राजा के दरबार में मुख्यमंत्री नियुक्त किया गया था। वीरचंद मोरबी के राजा की सेना में शामिल हो गए। दोनों भाई मेहनती थे। अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में वफादार और ईमानदार। उन्होंने अपने लिए एक अच्छा नाम कमाया। हालाँकि, विदयचतुर की प्रसिद्धि और महिमा दूर-दूर तक फैल गई थी।

एक दिन दोनों भाई अपने माता-पिता से मिलने अपने गृहनगर आए। गाँव के सभी लोग भाइयों से मिलने आए। लेकिन उन सभी ने विद्याचतुर की ही प्रशंसा की। यहाँ तक कि उनके पिता ने भी केवल अपने बड़े बेटे की प्रशंसा की और कहा कि उन्हें उस पर बहुत गर्व है।

इसलिए वीरचंद नाराज हो गए। पिता को इस बात का एहसास हुआ और उन्होंने वीरचंद को विद्याचतुर की श्रेष्ठता के लिए मनाने की योजना के बारे में सोचा।

अब हुआ यूं कि उनके घर के पास एक छोटी सी पहाड़ी पर एक कुतिया ने चार पिल्लों को जन्म दिया था। पिता ने वीरचंद को जाकर पता लगाने के लिए कहा कि पहाड़ी की चोटी पर क्या है। वीरचंद तेजी से पहाड़ी पर चढ़ गया और तुरंत लौट आया।

पिता ने उससे पूछा, “बेटा, तुमने वहाँ पहाड़ी पर क्या देखा?”

वीरचंद ने उत्तर दिया, “पिताजी, उस पहाड़ी पर एक कुतिया ने पिल्लों को जन्म दिया है।”

पिता ने आगे कहा, “कितने पिल्ले हैं?”

वीरचंद को नहीं पता था जवाब! इसलिए, वह फिर से पहाड़ी पर चढ़ गया और तुरंत लौट आया। उसने कहा, “पिताजी, चार पिल्ले हैं।”

पिता ने कहा, “पिल्ले किस रंग के हैं?”

फिर, वीरचंद को जवाब नहीं पता था! इसलिए, वह पहाड़ी पर दौड़ा और शीघ्र ही लौट आया। उसने कहा, “पिताजी, पिल्लों में से एक काला है और अन्य तीन भूरे रंग के हैं।”

कुछ समय बाद, पिता ने विद्याचतुर को बुलाया और कहा कि वह जाकर पता करे कि पहाड़ी की चोटी पर क्या है।

विद्याचतुर पहाड़ी पर चढ़ गया और कुछ देर बाद वापस आ गया।

पिता ने उससे पूछा, “बेटा, तुमने पहाड़ी पर क्या देखा?”

विद्याचतुर ने उत्तर दिया, “पिताजी, उस पहाड़ी पर एक कुतिया ने पिल्लों को जन्म दिया है।”

पिता ने आगे उससे पूछा, “कितने पिल्ले हैं?”

विद्याचतुर ने तुरंत उत्तर दिया, “पिताजी, चार पिल्ले हैं।”

पिता ने फिर पूछा, “पिल्ले किस रंग के हैं?

“पिताजी, पिल्लों में से एक काला है और अन्य तीन भूरे हैं,” विद्याचतुर ने तुरंत उत्तर दिया।

जब पिता विद्याचतुर से ये सवाल पूछ रहे थे तो वीरचंद भी वहां मौजूद थे। उसने महसूस किया कि उसका बड़ा भाई केवल एक बार पहाड़ी पर गया था और कुतिया और उसके पिल्लों के बारे में सारी जानकारी लाया था। लेकिन वही जानकारी लेने के लिए उन्हें वहां तीन बार जाना पड़ा।

अब वीरचंद भी अपने भाई की बुद्धि की प्रशंसा करने लगे। उसने महसूस किया कि उसका भाई वास्तव में उससे श्रेष्ठ था।

खरगोश और कछुआ in Hindi

एक बार की बात है एक खरगोश और एक कछुआ था। वे अच्छे दोस्त थे। वे रोज मिलते और खेलते थे। खरगोश हमेशा यह दावा करता था कि वह कछुए से भी तेज दौड़ सकता है।

इसलिए, उन्होंने एक दौड़ करने का फैसला किया। उन्होंने शुरुआती और समापन बिंदु चुना। खरगोश बहुत तेज दौड़ता है और जल्द ही कछुए को बहुत पीछे छोड़ देता है। उसने सोचा कि कछुआ बहुत धीमा है और वह थोड़ी देर आराम कर सकता है।

तो वह पेड़ के नीचे गिर गया और सो गया। जबकि कछुआ पूरे समय चलता रहा और जीत के मुकाम पर पहुंच गया। जब खरगोश उठा तो उसने देखा कि कछुआ पहले ही रेस जीत चुका है।

कहानी का नैतिक: धीमा और स्थिर दौड़ जीतता है।

So, they decided to have a race. They chose the starting and finishing points. The rabbit runs really fast and soon left the turtle far behind. He thought that the turtle is too slow and he can rest a while.

So, he stooped under the tree and went to sleep. Meanwhile, the turtle keep walking the whole time and reached the winning point. When the rabbit woke up he saw that turtle has already won the race.

The moral of the story: Slow and steady wins the race.

एक छोटे से जंगल में पाँच गायें रहती थीं। वह एक बड़े हरे घास के मैदान में ताजी घास खाते थे। वे दयालु मित्र थे। उन्होंने सब कुछ एक साथ करने का फैसला किया। इसलिए, शेर भोजन के लिए उन पर हमला नहीं कर सके।

एक दिन, पाँचो गायों में लड़ाई हुई और हर एक गाय अलग-अलग जगह घास खाने लगी। शेरों ने मौके का फायदा उठाने का फैसला किया और एक-एक करके उन्हें मार डाला।

गर्मी का दिन था। एक प्यासा कौआ पीने के लिए पानी की तलाश में एक गाँव में उड़ गया। वह घरों, खेतों और पेड़ों पर उड़ गया लेकिन उसे पानी नहीं मिला। काफी देर बाद वह एक खेत के पास आया।

खेत के एक पेड़ के नीचे पानी का एक घड़ा था। मटके में बहुत कम पानी था। कौवे ने पानी तक पहुँचने की कोशिश की लेकिन वह ऐसा नहीं कर पाया क्योंकि घड़े की गर्दन बहुत संकरी थी। फिर उसने पानी को बाहर निकालने के लिए बर्तन को नीचे धकेलने की कोशिश की लेकिन घड़ा उसके लिए बहुत भारी था।

कौवे ने इधर-उधर देखा। उसने कुछ कंकड़ देखे। उसके दिमाग में एक विचार आया। उसने एक-एक कर कंकड़ उठाए और कंकड़ घड़े में गिराए, पानी ऊपर आ गया। जल्द ही यह उसके पीने के लिए काफी अधिक था। उसने पानी पी लिया। वह खुशी से उड़ गया।

कहानी का नैतिक : जहां चाह है वहां राह है।

It was a hot summer’s day. A thirsty crow flew into a village searching for some water to drink. He flew over houses, fields, and trees but he could not find any water. After a long time, he came across a farm.

Under one of the trees on the farm was a pot of water. There was very little water in the pot. The crow tried to reach the water but he was not able to do so as the neck of the pot was very narrow. He then tried to push the pot down for the water to flow out but the pot was too heavy for him.

The crow looked around. He saw some pebbles. An idea struck in his mind. He picked up the pebbles one by one and dropped the pebbles into the pot, the water came up. Soon it was high enough for him to drink. He drank the water. He flew away happily.

Moral of the story: Where there is a will there is a way.

“Why not come and chat with me, “said the Grasshopper, “instead of doing all of that work?

I am helping to store up food for the winter, “said the Ant, “and suggest you do the same. “Why bother about winter?” said the Grasshopper, “We have got plenty of food at the moment.

The ant went on its way and continued its work. When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and was dying of hunger.

The ant, however, had plenty of food to last all through the winter from his hard work in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew- It is best to be prepared.

Moral of the story : It is best to be prepared

एक बार की बात है एक गाँव में एक किसान अपनी पत्नी के साथ रहता था। वे बहुत गरीब थे। उनके पास एक छोटे से खेत के अलावा कुछ नहीं था। हर बार जब वह अपने खेत की सब्जियां बेचता था तो वह थोडे से पैसे बचाने में कामयाब होता था। आखिरकार उसने एक हंस खरीदने के लिए पर्याप्त धन बचा लिया। वह उसे घर ले गया और अंडे देने के लिए उसके लिए एक घोंसला बनाया।

जब वह अगली सुबह अपने नाश्ते के लिए कुछ अंडे लेने गया। उसने हंस को उठाया। उसे आश्चर्य हुआ कि हंस ने एक सोने का अंडा दिया था। दिन-ब-दिन हंस ने एक सुनहरा अंडा दिया। जल्द ही, वे अमीर हो गए।

अगले दिन किसान चुपचाप हंस के पास गया और उसे उठा लिया। वह चाकू को जेब में छिपा रहा था। दंपति ने हंस को मार डाला और उसे केवल यह पता लगाने के लिए खोल दिया कि वह हर दूसरे हंस की तरह है। उसके अंदर बिल्कुल भी सुनहरे अंडे नहीं थे। उन्होंने हंस खो दिया था और उन्हें फिर कभी सुनहरे अंडे नहीं मिले।

कहानी का नैतिक : बहुत अधिक लालच हमेशा बड़े नुकसान की ओर ले जाता है।

He managed to save a little money each time he sold vegetables from his farm. Eventually he saved up enough money to buy a goose. He took it home and made a nest for it to lay eggs.

When he went to gather some eggs for his breakfast the next morning. He lifted the goose. To his surprise, the goose had laid a golden egg. Day after day, the goose laid a golden egg. Soon, they became rich.

The next day, farmer went to the goose quietly and picked her up. He was hiding the knife in the pocket. The couple killed the goose and cut her open only to find that she was just like every other goose. She had no golden eggs inside of her at all. They had lost the goose and they would never get and golden eggs ever again.

Moral of the story : Too much greed always leads to great loss.

एक दिन, एक यककी सुअर एक झील में खुद को भीगा रहा था। एक प्यासा शेर पानी पीने आया लेकिन दुर्गंध के कारण वह चला गया।

पागल सुअर ने सोचा कि शेर सुअर से डरता है और उसे लड़ाई के लिए चुनौती दी। “शायद कल,”शेर ने उत्तर दिया और बदबूदार सुअर से दूर हो गया।

सुअर अपने घर वापस चला गया और अपने माता-पिता को सब कुछ बताया। “तुमने अपने साथ क्या किया है, बेवकूफ सुअर!

यह आप नहीं बल्कि आपकी दुर्गंध है जिसने शेर को भाग जाने पर मजबूर कर दिया, “उसके पिता ने समझाया। उस सुअर का उत्साह तुरंत टुकड़ों में टूट गया।

उसके पिता ने सुझाव दिया कि वह जानबूझकर गंदे पानी में लुढ़क जाए ताकि वह अधिक से अधिक बदबू मार सके और फिर शेर से मिल सके। सुअर ने अपने पिता की बात मानी।

शेर जैसे ही सुअर के पास पहुंचा, चारों ओर दुर्गंध फैल गई और शेर उसके पास नहीं जा सका और वह भाग गया।

तब से सूअर हमेशा अपने आप को गंदा रखते हैं ताकि कोई जानवर उनके पास न आ सके।

One day, a yucky pig was drenching himself in a lake. A thirsty lion came to drink the water but due to bad odor he went away.

Since then, pigs always keep themselves dirty so that no animal might come near them.

एक बूढ़ा आदमी जिसके पाँच बेटे थे, इस बात से चिंतित था कि उसके बेटे कभी साथ रहना नहीं सीखेंगे। उसने अपने सब पुत्रों को एक साथ एकत्र किया और अपने सेवकों को लाठी का एक बंडल लाने का आदेश दिया।

उसने अपने बड़े बेटे से कहा, “इसे तोड़ दो।” बेटे ने कोशिश की और कोशिश की, लेकिन अपनी पूरी ताकत से भी वह बंडल को नहीं तोड़ सका।

एक बार एक शेर अपनी गुफा में सो रहा था। तभी एक चूहा कही से आकर शेर के ऊपर कूदने लगा। जिससे शेर की नींद टूट गयी। शेर को चूहे पर इतनी तेज़ से गुस्सा आया की उसने उसको अपने पंजों में जकड़ लिया और उससे मरने का सोचने लगा।

चूहा बहुत डर गया। उसने काँपते हुए शेर से कहा – “है शेर राजा! मुझे माफ़ कर दीजिये, मुझसे बहुत भारी भूल हो गयी है।

अगर आप मुझे जाने देंगे तो आपका बहुत उपकार होगा और आपके इस उपकार को में वक़्त आने पर जरूर चूका दूँगा।

यह सुनकर शेर को चूहे पर दया आ गयी और उसने उससे जाने दिया पर वह मन ही मन हँसा की भला यह छोटा सा चूहा मेरा उपकार क्या चुकाएगा।

समय बीतता गया और एक दिन हमेशा की तरह शेर शिकार की तलाश में जंगल घूम रहा था की एक शिकारी ने उसे चलाकी से अपने जाल में पकड़ लिया। शेर अपनी सहायता के लिए ज़ोर-ज़ोर से दहाड़ मारने लगा।

शेर की आवाज़ सुनकर चूहा वहां आया। शेर को जाल में फ़सा देखकर उसने तुरंत अपने नुकीले दांतो से शिकारी का जाल काट दिया और शेर को आज़ाद कर दिया।

शेर ने चूहे का बहुत धयंवाद किया उस दिन शेर को समझ आया की किसी भी प्राणी की क़ाबलियत उसके बहारी रूप से नहीं लगानी चाहिए और कभी छोटे-बड़े का भेदभाव नहीं करना चाहिए।

कहानी का नैतिक : हमेशा एक दूसरे की मदद करें

Once a lion was sleeping in his cave. Then a mouse came from somewhere and started jumping on the lion. Due to which the lion’s sleep was broken.

The lion got so angry at the mouse that he caught it in his paws and thought of dying from it. The mouse was very scared. He said to the trembling lion – “O Lion King! Forgive me, I have made a big mistake.

If you let me go, you will be greatly appreciated and I will surely repay this favor of yours when the time comes. Hearing this, the lion took pity on the mouse and let it go, but he laughed to himself that how will this little mouse repay my favor.

Time passed and one day as usual the lion was roaming the forest in search of prey that a hunter caught him in his net with a clever trick.

The lion started roaring loudly for its help. Hearing the lion’s voice, the mouse came there. Seeing the lion caught in the net, he immediately cut the hunter’s net with his sharp teeth and set the lion free.

The lion thanked the mouse a lot, on that day the lion understood that the ability of any creature should not be imposed on its external form and should never discriminate between big and small.

Moral of the story : Always help each other
