एक और बीमारी सामने आ रही है जिसका नाम Monkeypox है। Monkeypox बीमारी जानवरो से इंसानो में आने वाली बीमारी है। ये बीमारी अक्सर मध्य और पश्चिमी अफ्रीकी देशों में फैलती है और यहीं से दूसरे देशों में भी फैलती है। ये बीमारी संक्रमित जानवर से सीधे संपर्क में आने से फेल सकती है।

ऐसा कहा जा रहा है की जो UK में इस बीमारी से संक्रमित हुआ है वो nigeria की यात्रा करके आया था।

Initial Symptoms:- बुखार, सिर दर्द, नसों में दर्द, कमर दर्द, सूजी हुई लसीका ग्रंथियां, ठंड लगना और थकावट होना आदि है। चेहरे में दाने हो सकते है जो शरीर के अन्य भागो में फैल जाते है। यह दाने बाद में पपड़ी में खुद गिर जाते है।

यह chickenpox की तरह ही है इसमें chickenpox जैसे छाले होते है पर यह बीमारी chickenpox से ज्याद खतरनाक मानी जा रही है। UK में जो इंसान इस बीमारी से संक्रमित है उनके साथ आए हुए यात्रियों से भी संपर्क किया जा रहा। ताकि वह भी अपना इलाज करा ले और यह बीमारी औरो तक न जाये।

Monkeypox भी एक फैलने वाली बीमारी है। इस बीमारी में भी isolation की जरुरत होती है। इस virus के ऊपर अभी भी काम चल रहा है और जानकारिया निकाली जा रही है जैसे इस virus का root cause क्या है ? यह virus कैसे काम करता है? virus का time frame क्या है ? कैसे इसका treatment होगा ?

हलाकि U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA) का कहना है यह एक साधारण बीमारी है जो जल्दी से लोगों के बीच फैलती नहीं है और आसानी से ठीक होने वाली बीमारी है।

यह बीमारी पहले से ही है अर्थात यह कोई नई बीमारी नहीं है। यह बीमारी पहेली बार UK में 2018 को देखी गयी थी वो भी चार पांच लोगो के बीच।
