आज हम रक्षा बंधन के बारे में जानने वाले है। रक्षा बंधन की कहानी क्या है और इसकी शुरुआत कैसे हुई थी? तो चलिए शुरू करते है।
सावन के महीने में आने वाले त्यौहारो में से एक राखी का त्यौहार है यह भाई और बहन का त्यौहार है इस दिन बहने अपने भाई की कलाई में राखी बांधती है और भाई अपनी बहनो को उपहार देते है। राखी के त्यौहार की बहुत सारी कहानिया है।
उनमे से एक कहानी है भगवान् श्री कृष्ण और द्रोपती की है।
भगवन श्री कृष्ण की एक बुआ, जिनका नाम श्रुतदेवी था उनका एक पुत्र जिसका नाम शिशुपाल था। उन्होंने शिशुपाल नाम का एक विकृत बालक को जन्म दिया। बड़ो से पता चलता है की जिसके स्पर्श से शिशुपाल स्वस्थ होगा उसी के हाथो शिशुपाल की मृत्यु होगी।
एक दिन श्री कृष्ण अपनी बुआ के घर आए थे। उन्होंने श्री कृष्ण के हाथो अपने पुत्र को रखा और देखा की जैसे ही शिशुपाल श्री कृष्ण के हाथो में गए, वह बच्चा सुन्दर हो गया। श्रुतदेवी यह बदलाव देख कर खुश हो गई, लेकिन उनकी मौत श्री कृष्ण के हाथो होने की संभावना से वह विचलित हो गई।
वह भगवान श्री कृष्ण से प्रार्थना करने लगी की शिशुपाल कोई भी गलती करे आप उन्हें दंड नहीं करेंगे, तब श्री कृष्ण ने कहा में उसकी गलतियो को माफ़ कर दुगा लेकिन अगर वो सौ (100) से ज्यादा गलतिया करता है तो में उससे दंड जरूर दूगा।
शिशुपाल बड़े होकर एक चेदि नाकम राज्य के राजा बने, वो बहुत ही क्रूर राजा बना। वो अपने राज्य के लोगो को बहुत सताने लगा और बार-बार श्री कृष्ण को वो चुनौती देने लगा। एक समय में तो उन्होंने भरी सभा में श्री कृष्ण का अपमान करना शुरू कर दिया और उसी दिन उन्होंने अपने सौ (100) गलतियों को पूरा कर दिया था।
तुरंत ही भगवन श्री कृष्ण ने अपने सुदर्शन चक्र का शिशुपाल के ऊपर उपयोग किय इसी प्रकार से बहुत चेतावनी मिलने के बाद भी शिशुपाल अपनी गलतिया करता गया, और अंत में उन्हें अपनी सज़ा मिली।
भगवन श्री कृष्ण जब अपना सुदर्शन चक्र छोड़ रहे थे तब उनकी भी उंगली में चोट लग गयी, उस समय सब उस घाव में कुछ बांधने के लिए इधर-उधर भागने लगे। तब द्रोपती ने अपनी साड़ी के कोने को फाड़ कर उससे श्री कृष्ण की उंगली में बांध दिया।
शुक्रिया प्यारी बहना तुमने मेरे दुःख में साथ दिया है में भी तुम्हारे दुःख में तुम्हारा साथ दूंगा- यह श्री कृष्ण ने द्रोपती से कहा और बाद में द्रोपती के चीर हरण में श्री कृष्ण ने द्रोपती की रक्षा की।

One of the festivals coming in the month of Sawan is the festival of Rakhi, it is the festival of brother and sister, on this day sisters tie Rakhi on their brother’s wrist and brothers give gifts to their sisters. There are many stories about the festival of Rakhi.
One of them is the story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi.
An aunt of Lord Krishna, whose name was Shrutadevi, had a son named Shishupal. She gave birth to a deformed child named Shishupal. It is learned from the elders that by whose touch Shishupal will be healthy, Shishupal will die at his own hands.
One day Shri Krishna came to his aunt’s house. He placed his son in the hands of Shri Krishna and saw that as soon as Shishupala went into Shri Krishna’s hands, the child became beautiful. Shrutadevi was pleased to see this change, but she was distraught by the possibility of his death being at the hands of Shri Krishna.
She started praying to Lord Shri Krishna that if Shishupal makes any mistake, you will not punish him, then Shri Krishna said that I will forgive his mistakes, but if he commits more than a hundred (100) mistakes, then I will definitely punish him.
Shishupal grew up to become the king of a Chedi kingdom, he became a very cruel king. He started harassing the people of his state a lot and he started challenging Shri Krishna again and again. At one time he started insulting Shri Krishna in a crowded meeting and on the same day he had completed his hundred (100) mistakes.
Immediately Lord Krishna used his Sudarshan Chakra on Shishupal, in the same way, even after getting many warnings, Shishupal continued to commit his mistakes, and in the end, he got his punishment.
When Lord Krishna was leaving his Sudarshan Chakra, he also got hurt his finger, at that time everyone started running here and there to tie something in that wound. Then Draupathi tore the corner of her saree and tied it to the finger of Shri Krishna.
Thank you, dear sister, you have supported me in my pain, I will also support you in your pain- this is what Shri Krishna said to Draupadi and later, Shri Krishna protected Draupadi.
