Our mother earth is choking and we are helpless. We face many challenges today and one of them is pollution. When any contaminating substance is added to our environment and pollutes our natural resources called pollution. There are many reasons for pollution and human beings are responsible for most of it.

One of the main reasons for human pollution is urbanization. When human beings started establishing cities and industrialization happened then the level of pollution started increasing.

The harsh reality of urbanization is that many beautiful valleys, mountains, hills stations, and forests have been converted into vessels of pollution. The needs of human beings kept on increasing day-to-day and to satisfy those needs we exploited our mother earth. Trees are cut down, rivers and lakes were contaminated and natural reserves were misused.

Pollution has been a long-standing problem in our world for a few decades now. It is something that poses harm to the environment and also to us humans as a result that Pollution refers to when there are contaminants that pose harm to the environment and there are four main types of it.

Air pollution refers to the harmful and toxic fumer in the air produced by vehicles, factories, smoking, industries, etc. Air pollution affects our health, it causes coughing, asthma, and other lung diseases.

Water pollution refers to the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, and seas by toxic substances, Plastic, Oil spills, etc. These contaminants are generally introduced by human activities like improper sewage treatment and oil spills.

Soil or land pollution refers to the wastage we leave on the land, and also toxic substances that seep into the soil. It depicts the contamination of soil due to the presence of toxic substances such as excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides, deforestation, industrial waste, etc.

Noise Pollution refers to unwanted and unpleasant noises. It is dangerous to life. It is said that 85 decibels cause deafness and other diseases. The common reason behind noise pollution is the sound that comes from industry, planes, and other sources that reach beyond permissible limits.

All the types of pollution are incredibly detrimental to the planet.

Urbanization refers to the concept of rural towns and villages developing into urbanized towns and cities. Urban localities are characterized by having good infrastructure and prevalence of Industry. Both of which are almost undoubtedly linked to each other.

A lot of venture capitalists and multinational corporations select smaller, rural towns to start manufacturing businesses because the factors of production most often come cheaper there. This means that the rent is lower. Labour cost less etc.

Thus, it makes for a convenient place to open up and manufacturing factories there.

How to reduce pollution?

Pollution is a global problem, It is a collective issue and thereby, it needs a collective approach to end it. We should focus on going green, plant more trees, eliminate waste in nature. We should stop using excessive chemicals etc in agriculture to save our water from being polluted.

The world should not only look at the industry. Along with it, we need to strike a balance between industrial progress and the preservation of nature. The rate of Government, mass media, and civil society is necessary.

Pollution is one of the dangerous issues that we all are facing. It would impact the entire world. There is no denying the fact. Instead, the world community should unite to save each other from the threats of pollution.

मानव प्रदूषण का एक मुख्य कारण शहरीकरण है। जब मानव ने शहरों की स्थापना शुरू की और औद्योगीकरण हुआ तो प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ने लगा।

शहरीकरण की कड़वी सच्चाई यह है कि कई खूबसूरत घाटियां, पहाड़, हिल स्टेशन और जंगल प्रदूषण के जहाजों में तब्दील हो चुके हैं। मनुष्य की आवश्यकताएँ दिन-ब-दिन बढ़ती रहीं और उन आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति के लिए हमने अपनी धरती माता का शोषण किया। पेड़ों को काट दिया जाता है, नदियों और झीलों को दूषित कर दिया जाता है और प्राकृतिक भंडार का दुरुपयोग किया जाता है।

नतीजा आज यह है कि हम अत्यधिक प्रदूषित शहरों में सोते हैं जहां दिन-प्रतिदिन का जीवन तेजी से कठिन होता जा रहा है। इस शहरी प्रदूषण के कारण हमें कई स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता है और इसलिए सबसे बुरी बात यह है कि हमें इसका एहसास भी नहीं होता है। अब समय आ गया है कि हमें इस प्रदूषण को रोकने के तरीके अपनाने चाहिए और अपनी आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक बेहतर दुनिया बनाना चाहिए।

प्रदूषण एक ऐसी समस्या हो सकती है जो पिछले कुछ दशकों में अधिक से अधिक विकट हो गई है। विभिन्न प्रकार के प्रदूषण हैं। यह प्रदूषण है:- ध्वनि प्रदूषण, जल प्रदूषण, वायु प्रदूषण और मृदा प्रदूषण। ये सभी पर्यावरण के लिए अविश्वसनीय रूप से हानिकारक हैं। ये धुएं या अवांछित शोर से वायु के दूषित होने का उल्लेख करते हैं। जल निकायों और भूमि का संदूषण।

प्रदूषण हमारी दुनिया में पिछले कुछ दशकों से एक लंबे समय से चली आ रही समस्या है। यह कुछ ऐसा है जो पर्यावरण को और हम मनुष्यों को भी नुकसान पहुंचाता है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप प्रदूषण का तात्पर्य तब होता है जब पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाले प्रदूषक होते हैं और इसके चार मुख्य प्रकार होते हैं।

वायु प्रदूषण वाहनों, कारखानों, धूम्रपान, उद्योगों आदि द्वारा उत्पादित हवा में हानिकारक और जहरीले धुएं को संदर्भित करता है। वायु प्रदूषण हमारे स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित करता है, यह खांसी, अस्थमा और फेफड़ों के अन्य रोगों का कारण बनता है।

जल प्रदूषण से तात्पर्य जल निकायों जैसे झीलों, नदियों और समुद्रों के विषाक्त पदार्थों, प्लास्टिक, तेल रिसाव आदि से दूषित होने से है। ये संदूषक आम तौर पर अनुचित सीवेज उपचार और तेल फैल जैसी मानवीय गतिविधियों द्वारा पेश किए जाते हैं।

मृदा या भूमि प्रदूषण से तात्पर्य उस अपव्यय से है जो हम भूमि पर छोड़ते हैं, और जहरीले पदार्थ भी जो मिट्टी में रिसते हैं। यह जहरीले पदार्थों जैसे उर्वरकों और कीटनाशकों के अत्यधिक उपयोग, वनों की कटाई, औद्योगिक अपशिष्ट आदि की उपस्थिति के कारण मिट्टी के प्रदूषण को दर्शाता है।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण अवांछित और अप्रिय शोर को संदर्भित करता है। यह जीवन के लिए खतरनाक है। कहा जाता है कि 85 डेसिबल से बहरापन और अन्य बीमारियां होती हैं। ध्वनि प्रदूषण के पीछे सामान्य कारण उद्योग, विमानों और अन्य स्रोतों से आने वाली ध्वनि है जो अनुमेय सीमा से अधिक तक पहुँचती है।

सभी प्रकार के प्रदूषण ग्रह के लिए अविश्वसनीय रूप से हानिकारक हैं।

प्रदूषण एक वैश्विक समस्या है, यह एक सामूहिक मुद्दा है और इसलिए इसे समाप्त करने के लिए सामूहिक दृष्टिकोण की आवश्यकता है। हमें हरियाली पर ध्यान देना चाहिए, अधिक से अधिक पेड़ लगाना चाहिए, प्रकृति में कचरे को खत्म करना चाहिए। हमें अपने जल को प्रदूषित होने से बचाने के लिए कृषि में अत्यधिक रसायनों आदि का प्रयोग बंद कर देना चाहिए।

दुनिया को सिर्फ इंडस्ट्री की तरफ नहीं देखना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही हमें औद्योगिक प्रगति और प्रकृति के संरक्षण के बीच संतुलन बनाने की जरूरत है। सरकार, जनसंचार माध्यम और नागरिक समाज की दर आवश्यक है।

निष्कर्ष:-

प्रदूषण उन खतरनाक मुद्दों में से एक है जिसका हम सभी सामना कर रहे हैं। इसका असर पूरी दुनिया पर पड़ेगा। इस तथ्य से कोई इंकार नहीं है। इसके बजाय, विश्व समुदाय को एक दूसरे को प्रदूषण के खतरों से बचाने के लिए एकजुट होना चाहिए।
