Republic Day is celebrated with great pomp in India every year on 26th January, because the Constitution of India came into force on this day. Republic Day is a national festival in India.
Republic Day is a national holiday in India. The Constitution of India gives many fundamental rights to the Indian people such as the Right to Equality, Cultural and educational rights, Right to freedom of religion, etc.
When India got its Independence on the 15th of August, a committee was formed a few days later. It is an important day for the country’s citizens because we got our Constitution on this day.
The Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950. As soon as the Indian Constitution came into force, India became a fully democratic republic nation. Before 26 January 1950 India was under British domination.
The Constitution of India was created by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, who we also know as Babasaheb Ambedkar. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is also called the father of the Indian Constitution.
At that time, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was the chairman of the drafting committee. The Constitution of India was prepared in 2 years, 11 months, and 18 days. The Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world.
In January 1950, the Constitution’s handwritten copies were signed by the members of the constituent assembly. After two days, on the 26th of January 1940, it was declared Republic Day and a National Holiday.
Republic Day celebrations are a proud day for all Indians because on this day India became a republic nation. India’s own constitution and law and order came into force on 26th January. Under the constitution, the citizens of India were given many fundamental rights such as:-
1. Right to equality, 2. Right to freedom, 3. Right against exploitation, 4. Right to freedom of religion, 5. Culture and education rights, 6. Right to constitutional remedies.
Republic Day is celebrated all over India. The Republic Day celebrations are celebrated with great enthusiasm especially in Delhi, the capital of India. On this auspicious occasion in Delhi, our president hoists the flag and is organized on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
And then the national anthem is sung in a standing ovation. A grand parade is organized from the India Gate to the Rashtrapati Bhavan at the capital, New Delhi, Rajpath. In this parade, the Armed Forces display their Vigor, enthusiasm, and weaponry.
Various regiments of the Indian Army like the Air Force, Navy, Army, etc. participate in this parade. Students from various schools and states of the country also come to participate in this ceremony.
Schools, colleges, and other educational Institutions celebrate this day with great pomp and show. Students also take part in the celebration. It is an honor for everyone to participate in the Republic Day celebrations.
Republic Day inspires us to maintain the Unity, Equality, and pride of our nation. Our nation is the greatest nation in the world but let us strive to make it even better.
It is the duty of every citizen to respect and abide by the constitution and law and order of the country. The dignity of the country’s constitution should always be maintained.

भारत में हर साल 26 जनवरी को गणतंत्र दिवस बड़ी धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है, क्योंकि इसी दिन भारत का संविधान लागू हुआ था। गणतंत्र दिवस भारत का राष्ट्रीय त्योहार है।
गणतंत्र दिवस के दिन भारत में राष्ट्रीय अवकाश होता है। भारत का संविधान भारतीय लोगों को कई मौलिक अधिकार देता है जैसे समानता का अधिकार, सांस्कृतिक और शैक्षिक अधिकार, धर्म की स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार आदि।
26 अगस्त को जब भारत को आजादी मिली तो कुछ दिनों बाद एक समिति का गठन किया गया। यह देश के नागरिकों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण दिन है क्योंकि इसी दिन हमें अपना संविधान मिला था।
भारत का संविधान 26 जनवरी 1950 को लागू हुआ। जैसे ही भारतीय संविधान लागू हुआ, भारत पूरी तरह से लोकतांत्रिक गणराज्य राष्ट्र बन गया। 26 जनवरी 1950 से पहले भारत ब्रिटिश शासन के अधीन था।
भारत का संविधान डॉ. बी.आर. अम्बेडकर द्वारा बनाया गया था, जिन्हें हम बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर के नाम से भी जानते हैं। डॉ. बी.आर. अम्बेडकर को भारतीय संविधान का जनक भी कहा जाता है।
उस समय ड्राफ्टिंग कमेटी के अध्यक्ष डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर थे। भारत का संविधान 2 साल 11 महीने और 18 दिनों में तैयार किया गया था। भारत का संविधान दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा लिखित संविधान है।
जनवरी 1950 में, संविधान की हस्तलिखित प्रतियों पर संविधान सभा के सदस्यों द्वारा हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे। दो दिन बाद 26 जनवरी 1940 को गणतंत्र दिवस और राष्ट्रीय अवकाश घोषित किया गया।
गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह सभी भारतीयों के लिए गर्व का दिन होता है क्योंकि इसी दिन भारत एक गणतंत्र राष्ट्र बना था। भारत का अपना संविधान और कानून व्यवस्था 26 जनवरी को लागू हुई। संविधान के तहत भारत के नागरिकों को कई मौलिक अधिकार दिए गए जैसे:-
1. समानता का अधिकार, 2. स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार, 3. शोषण के विरुद्ध अधिकार, 4. धर्म की स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार, 5. संस्कृति और शिक्षा के अधिकार, 6. संवैधानिक उपचार का अधिकार।
गणतंत्र दिवस पूरे भारत में मनाया जाता है। गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह विशेष रूप से भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली में बहुत उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। दिल्ली में इस शुभ अवसर पर हमारे राष्ट्रपति ध्वजारोहण करते हैं और विजय चौक से इंडिया गेट तक राजपथ पर आयोजन किया जाता है।
और फिर स्टैंडिंग ओवेशन में राष्ट्रगान गाया जाता है। राजधानी नई दिल्ली, राजपथ पर इंडिया गेट से राष्ट्रपति भवन तक भव्य परेड का आयोजन किया जाता है। इस परेड में सशस्त्र बल अपने जोश, उत्साह और शस्त्रागार का प्रदर्शन करते हैं।
भारतीय सेना की विभिन्न रेजिमेंट जैसे वायु सेना, नौसेना, थल सेना आदि इस परेड में भाग लेते हैं। इस समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए देश के विभिन्न स्कूलों और राज्यों के छात्र भी आते हैं।
स्कूल, कॉलेज और अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थान इस दिन को बहुत धूमधाम से मनाते हैं। उत्सव में छात्र-छात्राएं भी शामिल होते हैं। गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में भाग लेना सभी के लिए सम्मान की बात है।
गणतंत्र दिवस हमें अपने राष्ट्र की एकता, समानता और गौरव को बनाए रखने के लिए प्रेरित करता है। हमारा राष्ट्र दुनिया का सबसे महान राष्ट्र है लेकिन आइए हम इसे और बेहतर बनाने का प्रयास करें।
देश के संविधान और कानून व्यवस्था का सम्मान और पालन करना प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य है। देश के संविधान की गरिमा हमेशा बनी रहनी चाहिए।
सभी भारतीयों को देश के संविधान का पालन करना चाहिए और देश में शांति, सद्भाव और एकता बनाए रखने में सहयोग करना चाहिए।
